Geetars, day 2

More guitar tracks completed this evening. We decided to mix things up and record some of the heavier/distortion parts. Tonight's guitars of choice were the Fender Strat & the '74 Gretsch Broadkaster. Surprisingly, the Broadkaster worked well for some heavier, layered portions of songs. It added a new depth to the sections on which it was used. Our original intention was to use it for clean tracks only, since it has such a smooth, clean tone, but we discovered it's rough tones to be quite useful.

Perfect Endings - bridge (Strat)
Channels - verse, chorus, bridge (Strat)
The Chemist - verse, chorus, bridge (Strat)
Silhouettes - chorus & 2nd bridge section (Strat & Broadkaster)
Bridge Lights - bridge/end (Strat & Broadkaster)

I guess that's it for tonight. Not much happens 'round these parts.
