I'm on holiday!

Since going to San Francisco in June, I have waited to go on holiday again. This time I will not be flying across the country. Hell, I probably won't be driving anywhere once I drop my car off at the repair shop. I'm bringing it in for its yearly inspection and, as always, will probably receive word that repairs are needed. What else would one expect from an 8 year-old Saturn with just under 200,000 miles on it? The "service engine soon" light is always on. Various other lights occasionally come on (and remain on) each time I start the car. Basically, the electrical system is fucked, the shocks are fucked, and, well, a lot more aspects of this vehicle are fucked. But it's my one and only mode of transportation for long journeys, so it's my fucked ride to deal with. One day I will have a new car. One day.

I took my second teaching certification exam on Saturday. I was quite nervous. I wasn't sure how exactly the test was set up, and I didn't begin to research the test until a few days prior to Saturday. In the end, I think I did ok. But we'll see. I don't like to assume the best. It will make the me feel worse if I fail. I really hope I didn't fail. Oh boy. The wait is going to be torturous.

I've seen a few movies since my last blog. I will, for once, not bore you with all of the films I have watched (or rewatched). Instead, I will discuss the two big action films of the Summer: Live Free or Die Hard and Transformers. I enjoyed them both. But Live Free or Die Hard was amazing. Truly amazing. I was afraid of being disappointed, as I was with Die Hard 2. In the end, I walked out with a huge smile on my face. Magdalene even loved it more than the original (I still say Die Hard is the best... heh heh). Anywho, Transformers was hyped up to be the best action movie of the Summer. People I know, as well as various customers in my store, all told me it was their new favorite film. I admit, Transformers was a fun film. I did enjoy it. But I probably won't buy it when it is released on DVD. Sorry, general public, I don't agree with your selection of Transformers as the best movie of the Summer. Live Free or Die Hard is wears the crown. Bow to its greatness!

Oh, and WEIH wrote a new song. We are so pleased with the new creation that we are adding it to the recording in place of Sound The Alarm, which we have still not been able to repair to our liking. Will we one day reconstruct a stronger, more interesting version of Sound The Alarm? I hope so. For now, we have the new track.

Alright, time for me to go back to being on holiday. Movie time? Perhaps.

Later on.
